Please excuse the following biography.

John Stanley was raised in rural Howell, NJ on a farm in the 1970’s. He had no TV, just AM radio to listen to. He comes from a loving family. They were kind of poor, but always had enough to eat. He did lots of singing in the church choir. He is self taught on the guitar and piano.

When he is not thinking about lawns, John writes songs and music and plays his acoustic guitar. He has even had one of his songs  “MG Amie” played on the popular national radio show Car Talk in 2008. It is a fun catchy tune that Click and Clack actually liked enough to play at the beginning of one of their shows. “The song “MG Amie” was written because I have three young daughters who would fight for the chance to ride with their Dad whenever I went anywhere in my 1974 MGB.”

John Stanley, the President and Owner went to Monmouth County Vocational School for Horticultural studies. John has an Associates in Science degree in Business Administration from Brookdale Community College, in Lincroft New Jersey. He graduated in 1984.

He then became a top performing salesman for Lawn Ranger, another fine lawn maintenance company in central New Jersey for four years from 1984 to 1988.

John was also a fertilizer and landscape supply territory representative for Reed Perrine in Tennent, NJ for three years from 1988 to 1991.

Ultra Lawn Services, LLC was started by John in 1991 to further his turf experience in residential and commercial lawns.

John is a current member of New Jersey Turfgrass Association which keeps him educated on all pesticide regulations and turf best practices.
